Emmaus International is formed of over 425 organisations worldwide. Today, they all uphold the same values of welcoming others, solidarity, openness, respect, and sharing, in their very different social, economic, and political circumstances.

In the face of rampant exclusion, the only things that count are meaningful values and initiatives that are as close as possible to the aspirations of the poorest populations. All over the world, the Emmaus groups work with the most disadvantaged people to enable them to regain their dignity through work and solidarity and by making sure their voices are heard by decision makers. Together, they fight against the causes of poverty and prove through practical experience that another world is possible, one that is fairer, more united and better protects its environment.
