Organisation set up in 1999 and member of Emmaus International since 2007.
The 26 companions at Emmaus Leeds carry out the usual work of Emmaus communities: collecting, sorting, repairing and selling goods at low prices. In addition to its second-hand shop, the group also has 2 shops at the covered market in Leeds town centre, where it also sells second-hand goods. At the community itself, companions run a café, serving hot drinks and homemade meals to shop customers.
