Organisation set up in 1999 and member of Emmaus International since 2012.
Located in the East of England, Emmaus Colchester is made up of 29 companions, who carry out the traditional activities of Emmaus communities of collecting, sorting, repairing and selling goods at low prices. The community runs four second-hand shops. At its shops on Arthur Street and Osborne Street, the community mainly sells furniture. The Emmaus Emporium and Emmaus Home are devoted more to selling quality furniture, shabby chic items, clothes, bric-a-brac, books, CDs and so on.
