Organisation set up in 1987 and member of Emmaus International since 1992.

Emmaus Beeklaan is a small community located in the centre of the Hague, which provides work and accommodation. The community is made up of two companions, Beppie and Mario, and visitors who regularly come to live and work with them for varied amounts of time. The group’s accommodation and place of work is located in a building constructed in 1668. The companions and visitors, supported by 15 volunteers, carry out the traditional activities of Emmaus communities: collecting, sorting, repairing and selling goods at low prices. This enables them to cover the group’s running costs.
