Emmaus in Europe
Emmaus Europe is the decentralised organisation of Emmaus International at European level. As such, it operates according to Emmaus International’s guidelines and decisions. Since 2005, the date of its constituent general assembly, it has united Emmaus organisations from across Europe, supported its members' advocacy work and lobbied the European institutions to promote our values and our struggles. Emmaus Europe's mission also involves coordinating the region's organisations and organising the pooling of resources and solidarity between its groups.
Today, the Europe region has 350 Emmaus groups (including 33 trial members) across 20 countries. This is the region with the highest number of Emmaus groups.
