The Emmaus Quarrata community is composed of 10 companions who do traditional Emmaus community work: collecting, sorting, repairing and reselling used goods at low prices at a second-hand goods shop which is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Companions live on one of the hills surrounding Quarrata, a Tuscan town of approximately 25,000 inhabitants. The Emmaus Quarrata community produces and sells olives and olive oil.
