The Emmaus groups reunited at the 2016 World Assembly in Jesolo committed to giving international solidarity refreshed momentum to tackle the causes of poverty, and to structure these efforts around three struggles:

> An ethical and solidarity economy to ensure access to fundamental rights

> Social en environmental justice for a sustainable world

> Peace, freedom of movement and of residence for universal citizenship
