In line with its founder's pacifist stance, the Emmaus movement’s aim is to guarantee every human being the right to live in a peaceful world.
Specifically, on the ground, this takes the shape of two awareness raising and advocacy initiatives to promote dialogue between peoples as an alternative to conflict, through supporting peace processes and transition to democracy, denouncing all acts and policies that infringe the fundamental freedoms of people, fighting against racism and all forms of discrimination.
